为了给同学们创造良好的英语环境，拥有更多提升英语的机会，助力枫叶学子走向更广阔的天地，海口江东枫叶学校继续延续着枫叶特色主题活动—周三英语活动日。本次英语活动日的主题是“珍爱地球，人与自然和谐共生，4.22世界地球日”。本次活动由赵恒艺老师组织，赵老师以英语文化为背景，德育辅助，旨在让学生了解世界地球日的相关知识，懂得珍爱地球，让保护环境成为学生的一种自觉行动。
In order to create a good English environment for students, have more opportunities to improve their English, and help Maple Leaf students move towards a broader world, Maple Leaf Schools-Haikou Jiangdong continues to hold Maple Leaf's characteristic theme activity - English Wednesday. The theme of the English activity this week is "Cherish the Earth, the harmonious living between human kinds and Nature, 4.22 World Earth Day". The English Wednesday Activity is organized by Catherine, for the understanding of the relevant knowledge of the World Earth Day, and the knowing of the cherishment on the earth, as well as making environmental protection as a conscious action of students.
地球是最美丽的星球，这里有蔚蓝的海洋，褐色的土地，绿色的森林和白色的云朵，地球的美丽更在于它用几十亿年的时间孕育了绿色的生命。然而，随着现代人类科学技术和经济水平的不断提高和飞速发展，我们赖以生存的家园，也受到了残害，大自然向人类亮起了红灯。
The earth is the most beautiful planet, with the blue oceans, the brown lands, the green forests and the white clouds. 地球只有一个，它的资源并不是取之不尽，用之不竭的。地球也会累，是时候为我们赖以生存的地方着想，爱护家园,从我做起，从每一件小事做起，树立可持续发展意识,将会使我们拥有一个更加绿色美好的未来。在大家的头脑风暴中，同学们纷纷想到了如何从身边的小事入手呵护地球。

In everyone's brainstorming, the students thought of how to take care of the earth from the little things among them.

韩雨欣、王尤志、陈俊羽等同学通过手抄报，视频宣讲等方式提出了以下倡议：
1.少砍伐树木，多种树苗。
2.少用一次性的东西，去超市购物尽量自己带购物袋，这样既保护了地球，又节约了资源。
3.少滥捕滥杀。
4.节约用电，节约地球上的资源。
5.多走路，少开车，低碳出行。
Candy, Wiber, Patrick and other students put forward the following proposals through posters and video presentations:
1. Cut down fewer trees, plant more saplings.
2. Use less disposable things, go to the supermarket to shop and bring your own shopping bags, which not only protects the earth, but also saves resources.
3. Reduce hunting and killing.
4. Save electricity and save resources on the earth.
5. Walk more, drive less.
本次周三英语活动日圆满落幕，学生们对英语的热爱又加深了一些，懂得了一切生命都起源于大自然，从属于大自然，人与自然和谐统一，绿水青山就是金山银山。精彩的英语活动还会继续，让我们期待下次更加精彩的周三英语活动吧！
